A historic win for Darshana's swimmers.
(July/20/2024) Eriad Cosmopolitan Darshana Club bagged four medals in the swimming competition conducted by the Aquatic Club. Dileep and Subair, the sportspersons of Darshana Club, won the award. Gold in backstroke, 50m Zubair won silver in the 50m backstroke and bronze in the 50m butterfly.Both of them were felicitated with ponnada.Rev. Fr. Thomas Kollappilly CMI and Ponnada was given to Subair Rev. Fr. Joby Pulikkan is the CMI and the priests congratulated the two sportspersons.Rev Fr Solomon Kadambattuparambil CMI congratulated both of them by giving them sweets.Along with Darshana, it was Jasno Edu Sports Centre and coach Sreeja Madam who worked hard to make the stars a shining star.Held in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh For his outstanding performance in the National Para Swimming Championship competition CI Anoop sir received respects from Azhikode police station and Fathima (owner of cosmopolitan hall and aquatic centre), wife of late Wahid.
